| The essence, physiology and pathology, differentiation of syndromes and treatment of Taiyang in Treatise on Febrile Diseases were summarized. Defending yang is the essence of Taiyang and the disease in defending yang is the essence of the Taiyang disease. The therapeutic principle of treating Taiyang disease is regulating defending yang. |
