Abstract: |
In recent years, the gut microbiota and derived metabolites of chronic kidney disease(CKD) have been widely studied, and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment methods based on this as an intervention target have great application value in delaying the development of CKD. In this paper,we firstly introduced the current status of intestinal microecology in CKD. Then,we discussed the pathogenic principles of gut microbiota and derived metabolites network in CKD based on the renal-intestinal axis. Finally, based on the treatment concept under the guidance of classical Chinese medicine theory and modern pharmacological research, the specific treatment and medication of TCM intervention in the gut microbiota-metabolic network of CKD were summarized, aiming to further clarify the application value of TCM intervention in CKD by targeting the gut microbiota and their metabolites. |
